Se celebra el domingo más cercano al 17 de
Enero. Celebración religiosa, con misa y procesión
por la manaña, bendición de los animales
y almoneda por la tarde.

SEMANA SANTA:
Durante toda la semana
hasta el Jueves, tienen lugar las diferentes Procesiones,
el Viernes las varias imágenes se concentran
en la Plaza Mayor. Es una sobria celebración
en la que se pone de manifiesto el sentir religioso
de Chinchón.

PASION DE CHINCHON:
Se celebra cada Sábado
Santo. Fiesta religiosa arraigada en este pueblo
y que congrega cada año a miles de personas.
Se remonta al año 1963 y está representada
por los vecinos de Chinchón. Comienza en
la Plaza Mayor con la escenificación de la
Sagrada Cena, continúa haciendo recorrido
por sus angostas calles. En la misma Plaza Mayor
tiene lugar la Crucifixión en un escenario
magníficamente escenificado con un excelente
montaje de luz y sonido como para terminar en la
fachada de la Iglesia con la Resurrección.
THE PASSION IN CHINCHON:
Celebrated every
Easter Saturday, this presentation by the people
of Chinchón has attracted thousands since
its inauguration in 1963. Starting in the Plaza
Mayor with the staging of the Sacred Supper, it
continues through its narrow streets. In the same
Plaza Mayor the Crucifixion takes place in a magnificently
mounted setting of light and sound, to finish in
the facade of the Iglesia con la Resurrección.
CORPUS:
No tiene fecha fija,
se celebra en el mes de Junio.

FIESTAS DE SANTIAGO:
(25 de Julio) Es el
primer acontecimiento taurino de la temporada. Se
celebra un encierro y corrida do toros y verbenas.

The first bullfight of the season. Accompanied with
an "encierro" (running of the bulls) and
parties.
FIESTAS DE LOS SANTOS PATRONOS
SAN ROQUE Y LA VIRGEN DE GRACIA:
Se celebra entre el
12 y al 18 de agosto, durante todos los días
su puede disfrutar de los típicos encierros,
novilladas, corridas de toros, parques de atracciones,
conciertos, fuegos artificiales, y actos religiosos.
(Between August
12th and 18th) Bullfights, "encierros"
(running of the bulls) religious acts, fireworks
and funfair etc. everyday.
VIRGEN DE LA MISERICORDIA:
(Primer domingo de
Septiembre). Se celebran actos religiosos, concursos
gastronómicos y de disfraces.
(First Sunday
in September) religious acts, culinary and disguises
competitions.
FlESTAS DE NUESTRA SEÑORA
DEL ROSARIO:
(Tercer domingo de
Septiembre). Encierros, corridas de toros y verbenas,
actos religiosos, dulces y limonada.
(Third Sunday
in September) "encierros", bull fights,
parties, religious acts; pastries and lemonade.
FESTIVAL TAURINO:
(Un domingo de Octubre). Fiesta benéfica
taurina con la que se cierra la temporada. Es el espectáculo taurino
de más categoría en el que participan los más afamados
toreros. Este festival viene celebrándose desde 1923 con la figura
de Marcial Lalanda.
(Any Sunday in October) Celebrated since

this charity bullfight is contested by the most famous bullfighters.
